[USA] Today : The objective of the HICD/Education program is to build human capacity through scholarship opportunity in support of the GOI Ministry of Education (MONE), Ministry of Religious Affairs (MORA), and Coordinating Ministry for People`s Welfare (KESRA), to better carry on quality improvements to basic education and higher education sub-sectors.
Program participants will receive a Master`s Degree in Education in areas such as:
Target Participants: Representatives from MONE, MORA, KESRA and their subsidiary offices at the national, provincial, and district level who work in the education sector. This includes faculty and staff of state universities under MONE and MORA, as well as teachers and administrators of primary or secondary education.
All DBE stakeholder institutions working with DBE. This includes regional branches of MONE and MORA, education commissions of houses of representatives, education boards, education NGOs, local media in education, Regional Development Board (Bappeda). This includes senior teachers and administrators of secondary or primary school instruction.
Special Qualifications: At least 3 years working experience in a related area of study.
Priority will be given to candidates from North Maluku, Sumatera, Kalimantan, East Nusa Tenggara, West Nusa Tenggara, and South Sulawesi.

[UK] This is aims of this projet is to analyze relationships between space and image within a particular landscape through new photographic technologies
[PhD - Scholarship Description: The University of Northampton invites applications for a three year full-time studentship to explore the interface between changes to the environment, photographic representation and identity formation.
The research principally interrogates the interface between changes evident in the external landscape/environment (natural and/or man-made) and photographic representation as an experiential process, reflecting upon the complex relationship between environmental change and identity formation. Central to this work will be the development of methodologies and approaches to explore the recent expansion of lens-based technologies and digital media in relation to audience and spectatorship, and the use of photography as a research method.
The aims of the project are as follows: • To analyse relationships between space and image within a particular landscape through new photographic technologies • To interrogate relationships between the individual, identity, community and place and visual representation through a synthesis of original image production and cross-disciplinary critical analysis. • To investigate the interconnectedness between emergent/transitional place and space, ethnic/cultural manifestation and formation and image in a context of accelerated physical, social, economic and technological change • To develop original forms of communication/expression through which complex relationships between people and their evolving environment might be represented

APRICOT Fellowship [Australia] Program for Develpoment Countries
The Fellowship Award which is granted to successful applicants (Fellows) covers a proportion of conference registration, travel, and living expenses associated with attending APRICOT.
Since 2000, the APRICOT Fellowship Program has provided opportunities to personnel from developing countries to participate in APRICOT. The program provides basic financial assistance to selected applicants, who fulfill eligibility criteria and are then selected by the Fellowship Committee.
Who can apply? The APRICOT Fellowship Program targets individuals from developing countries who are actively involved in Internet development, in a professional capacity, in any of the following roles:

P.E.O. International Peace Scholarship for women. Scholarship Description:P.E.O. International Peace Scholarship (IPS) Fund was established in 1949 to provide scholarships for international women students to pursue graduate study in the United States and Canada.
P.E.O. International Peace Scholarships are awarded annually to women who are citizens of countries other than the United States or Canada for graduate study in a degree program from schools in the United States and Canada. The maximum amount for a full 12 months of study is $10,000.
1. QUALIFICATIONS
An applicant must be qualified for admission to full-time graduate study, working toward a graduate degree in the college or university she will attend.
A copy of the applicant’s confirmation of admission must be received by the P.E.O. International Peace Scholarship office by April 1 in order to complete the application. This notice must specify the graduate degree program. No consideration will be given to applicants lacking evidence of admission.
2. RESTRICTIONS
A student holding citizenship or permanent residency in the United States or Canada is ineligible.
Scholarships are not given for research, internships, or for practical training if not combined with coursework.
Scholarships are not awarded for travel.
In order to qualify for her first scholarship, an applicant must have a full year of coursework remaining and be enrolled and in residence for the entire school year.
Doctoral students who have completed coursework and are working on dissertations only are not eligible as first-time applicants.
Doctoral students in medicine or dentistry will be considered in the final two years of coursework, internship or residency.

Erasmus Mundus | MESPOM is an Erasmus Mundus Masters course in Environmental Sciences, Policy and Management operated by four leading European and two North American Universities and supported by the European Commission.
