The task of this postdoc will be to build conductance-based models of human and rodent cells by implementing electrophysiological and morphological data from the lab using the NEURON simulator.

A postdoc with background in theoretical neuroscience and experience in the NEURON simulation environment is needed for a project on the electrophysiology of hippocampal neurons in the context of epilepsy (see e.g. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19564397).

The position (salary E13-based) is initially limited to 1 year and available immediately.
