Description
The postdoctoral fellowship is in the Department of Biostatistics at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health as part of the Department’s NIEHS Training Program in Environmental Biostatistics. The position involves methodological and applied work on statistical methods for data arising from environmental health studies.
Examples include spatial-temporal modeling of air pollution data and disease outcomes, health effects of complex mixtures, clinical and patient-oriented studies in environmental health, and the impacts of climate change on population health and infectious diseases. The work will involve both methodological research and close collaboration with environmental health researchers.
Qualifications
Qualifications are a PhD in statistics, biostatistics, computer science, or related field; strong programming skills in R, Matlab, or C; excellent written and oral communication skills. United States citizenship or permanent resident status is required.
