The scholarship which is based on academic excellance, is awarded in the form of a travel grant for $1,500. The grant was initiated to cover the cost of a round-trip airplane ticket between the US and Sweden.
In order to qualify for the AWC Scholarship, the applicant must be 18 years old or older, an American Female Citizen, and accepted for a period of study or research at a Swedish educational institute during 2011/2012.
Deadline for 2011 applications is April 30th
