Centre for Trophoblast Research
Next Generation Fellowships

The Centre for Trophoblast Research aims to promote the study of placental biology, with special reference to the Trophoblast. The Centre is offering one Next Generation Fellowship commencing in October 2011.

Candidates should normally be within 5 years of the award of their PhD and display evidence of a strong research record with an ability to perform independent research. A Fellowship may be tenable for one or more years at a time, renewable up to a maximum of three years. Fellowship holders are expected to apply for a Senior Research Fellowship from a research council or other funding body during the course of their tenure.

This Fellowship will provide flexible funding of up to £50,000 per annum, inclusive of a personal salary, research consumables, equipment and conference travel.

The scheme is open to UK, EU and Overseas PhD graduates.
