A competitive scholarship program for Franklin undergraduate students. Scholarship recipients are selected based on prior academic achievement and quality of essay. Scholarships range from $200 to $2,000 each and are non-renewable. View the USA Scholarship Application for deadlines and GPA, essay, and transcript requirements.

The Franklin University Undergraduate Scholars Program offers a variety of scholarships, which are donated or endowed by various individuals and organizations. The requirements are specified by the individual donor or endowment. Scholarship awards range from $200 to $2,000 (based on hours enrolled).

Your application must be received by (not postmarked by) the following deadlines:

Summer Trimester – March 1

Fall Trimester – July 1

Winter Trimester – November 1

General Requirements:

* Required hours of enrollment for scholarships are for Franklin hours only.
* To be competitive, students must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
* In general, students must enroll for a minimum of six credit hours (see specific scholarship requirements).
* Students must submit a typed essay with the application. Please choose one essay topic from the two essay choices listed below. Essay should be a maximum of 500 words in length; 2 pages, double spaced. Please note that certain scholarships have additional essay requirements that should be incorporated into one single essay. If an essay is not submitted with the application, your application will not be considered.
